The Museum of the American Revolution tells the rich and complex story of our nation’s founding. Since opening in 2017, the Museum has welcomed more than 1.6 million visitors and become a central voice in sharing the diverse people and ideas that shaped the American Revolution. With the U.S. Semiquincentennial approaching in 2026, the Museum launched its largest project since opening: a $1 million renovation to elevate visitor experiences and ensure the promise of the Revolution endures.
At the heart of this initiative was the Lenfest Myer Theater, home to the 15-minute orientation film Revolution. The Museum envisioned a transformation that would deliver cinematic storytelling, enhanced sound clarity, and increased flexibility for live programs.
IIMS Technology Services was selected to replace the aging projection system with a modern 4K LED video wall and to implement a fully updated audio system. The project also refreshed audio distribution in the Museum’s Lobby and Rotunda, extending impact beyond the theater.
